OptionCourtier was founded by a professional with over 25 years of experience in real estate brokerage.
A former agency owner, trainer, and renowned mentor, Jean-Sébastien Boiteau has overseen thousands of transactions and, over the years, has noticed a lack of clear tools to help clients make informed choices.
This field expertise led him to a clear conclusion: there was a need for a neutral, structured, and rigorous reference point to help clients choose the right broker.
This observation led to the creation of OptionCourtier, a system designed to protect clients and help them make better decisions, without pressure and without fees.

Born out of a need in real estate brokerage
OptionCourtier was born from a simple observation: too many people still choose their broker at random, out of habit, or based on unsuitable recommendations.
This project was never intended to create a real estate agency. It was born out of a different desire: to set up an intelligent filter capable of directing each client to two truly effective brokers, selected according to objective and measurable criteria.
OptionCourtier acts as a neutral intermediary, based on data, experience, and human interaction, to help clients make informed choices, without pressure and at no cost.

How much will it cost me?
Absolutely nothing. The Option Courtier service is 100% free for sellers and buyers. We are compensated through a retrocession agreement with the broker, only if a transaction is completed.
Are you a real estate agency?
No. Option Courtier is not a real estate agency and does not accept any mandates. We do not act as brokers in your transactions. We are a neutral advisory service that helps you choose from brokers who have already been selected for their performance.
Do you favor a particular banner?
No. We do not favor any particular banner. We always recommend two brokers, based on your needs, your sector, and our performance data.
What happens if I don't click on any of the brokers offered?
You are completely free. If the connection isn't there, we will take the time to review the situation with you and, where appropriate, explore other options. The important thing for us is that you move forward with clarity and confidence.
What exactly do you check with recommended brokers?
We first assess the human aspect and quality of service, as well as the consistency between your profile and that of the broker.
The goal is to create a good fit, both relationally and strategically.
Specifically, we take into account:
- the broker's human approach (attentiveness, clarity, professionalism),
- compatibility with your needs, your personality, and how you operate,
- customer satisfaction,
- rigorous and high-quality monitoring,
- the initial contact time,
- specialization (sector, type of property),
- the concrete results (transactions completed, conversion rates), and its ability to collaborate effectively within our system.
